Key Responsibilities
- Managed Services
- Provide comprehensive managed services to clients.
- Participate in after-hours troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Provide technical support for systems-related issues or queries.
- Perform systems administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security advisory, aiming for continuous optimization of system performance.
- Conduct standard system administration duties, including server installation, hardening, patch management, vulnerability review, Windows problem resolution, and log analysis.
- Deliver infrastructure services in Microsoft areas such as operating systems, Active Directory services, AAD, CA, KMS, LAPS, SCCM, and Exchange Server.
- Support the development and management of network servers, virtualization, storage, and monitoring systems.
- Assist in the upgrading of AD and virtual environments, including backup software, Windows Server versions.
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports and recommendations for managed service clients.
- Interface with vendors for technical service and issue resolution.
- Attend CAB meetings for major customers.
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge
- Diploma/Degree or other equivalent
- At least 5-7 years of support experience
- Technical knowledge of -, Azure AD Connect, Certificate Authentication, Key Management System, Local Administrator Password Solution, Exchange 2013
- Strong Technical knowledge of – Windows, Active Directory (AD
- Practical experience with VMware vSphere 7 (including multiple sites/clusters), vMotion, VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
- Ability to perform simple to medium-complexity troubleshooting, backup, archiving, and recovery tasks.
- Experience with Dell EMC storage and Power Vault DAS and Synology NAS product.
- Experience with common networks services, SNMP, DNS, NTP, DHCP, AD, etc.
- Knowledge of ITSM - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, Patch Management
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate between technical and business teams
- Able to interact with various levels of internal and external stakeholders both in written and verbal forms
