About Our Client
Our client is a global leader in the beauty industry and a major player in the luxury cosmetics market.
Job Description
Responsible for the accounting and reporting of the Singapore Hub entity, including:
1. Accounting and bookkeeping including month-end closing and reconciliation.
2. Ensuring tax compliance, covering corporate taxes, GST, and transfer pricing.
3. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations and standards.
4. Conducting internal and external audits, including the preparation of statutory accounts.
5. Processing invoice payments.
6. Enhance accounting processes and perform necessary User Acceptance Testing (UAT) if needed during system updates.
7. Preparing cash flow forecasts and other global reporting, including manufacturing variance tables.
8. Overseeing monthly regional consolidation and estimates for APAC inventory.
9. Implementing controls over inventories, including regular stocktakes.
10. Conducting financial management reporting and variance analysis.
11. Supporting monthly management reporting for the Supply Chain team.
12. Ad hoc finance tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Accountancy.
- CPA Certified.
- At least 8 years of experience in accounting and audit. Prior financial analysis experience in MNC is required.
- Ability to lead process changes and discussions with business partners.
