Job Description
- Oversee all finance functions within the region, ensuring comprehensive management of financial operations.
- Monitor and manage regional cash flows, optimizing liquidity and ensuring effective cash management strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audit processes and ensuring timely and accurate completion of audits.
- Manage relationships with banks, including handling banking transactions, negotiating terms, and addressing any banking issues.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including periodic financial statements and performance analyses, to support decision-making.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to align financial planning with strategic goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective team dynamics.
- Provide strategic financial support to country heads, offering insights and guidance to drive business performance and achieve regional objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations, reporting accuracy, and overall efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; with professional qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA)
- At least 8 years of experience in finance overseeing a broad range of financial functions.
- Proven experience in leading and developing finance teams.
- Strong ability to act as a finance business partner, providing strategic insights to meet business objectives.
- Proficiency with financial systems and ERP platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
