Job Description
This is a permanent position for the Traffic Controller with Regent Logistics Pte Ltd. The Traffic Controller will play a important role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of our land transport fleets to plan an efficient route planning and ensuring timely deliveries. He/She need to be able to communicate regular with our drivers, internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for planning, organizing and managing operations of the land logistics division
- Manage operational escalation, investigation and preventive action plan on job requirement
- Establish safety and security procedures
- Manage our fleet of vehicles and drivers (Prime Movers and Lorries) to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
- Deployment of vehicles and manpower to complete daily operations
- Adhere to statutory / company safety and health policies, procedures, and regulations
- Assist in all equipment maintenance
Requirements
- Relevant Experience in logistics, supply chain management, transportation or equivalent
- At Least two year of experience in the deployment of drivers for trucking/ loose cargo jobs.
- Strong understanding of land transportation regulations, routes, and logistical considerations in Singapore.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all drivers
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
