Key Responsibilities:
- Involved in a project on the application of photochemistry.
- Perform experiments.
- Operate instruments.
- Gather data and analyze data.
- Prepare weekly reports.
- Perform power point presentations.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science Honors (Distinction) degree in Chemistry.
- Prior experience in the use of chemical instruments including high-performance (HPLC), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and optical spectroscopic techniques including time-resolved spectroscopy.
- Prior experience in laboratory housekeeping and must have knowledge in laboratory safety practices.
- At least 2 – 4 years of research experience in a chemical laboratory.
- Prior knowledge on writing reports and giving presentations.
- Demonstrated a high degree of research competence and have preferably published at least 2 papers in good, peer-review scientific journals.
