I am working with a finance company that provides working capital loans to SMEs and consumers.
They are looking to grow their Singapore risk team.
Key responsibilities
- Assess the creditworthiness of SMEs or Individuals in applying for loans or credit by analysing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data
- Evaluate counterparty risk that may arise from extending credit
- Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures in compliance with organization and regulatory risk management practice
- Utilize credit scoring models to quantify risk and make informed lending decisions
- Communicate risk assessments and recommendations to stakeholders
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- 8-10 years experience in credit risk analysis, underwriting or portfolio management - preferably with SME and consumer loans
- Conversational Mandarin required to liaise with internal stakeholders
