Job Summary:
As a Stress Analysis Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity of aircraft designs, modifications, and repairs. You'll work collaboratively with a multiskilled team to perform advanced analysis and testing, leveraging your expertise to drive optimized and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Analysis and Design Support: Provide expert engineering support for aircraft structural design, modification, and repair projects.
- Structural Integrity Assessment: Perform static and dynamic analyses using classical methods and/or Finite Element methods to evaluate structural integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary engineers to achieve optimized design solutions within project timelines.
- Structural Testing and Advisory: Plan and execute structural tests, providing on-site guidance to test teams and directors during project testing phases.
- Presentation and Communication: Deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders on structural aspects and test results, confirming design integrity.
- Capability Development: Contribute to the growth and development of structural capabilities and skills within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years experience in Finite Element Analysis
- Experience with composite sandwich structures is a plus
- Strong knowledge of design principles, processes, methods, and manufacturing capabilities guidelines
