Job Description
- Process purchase orders and documents aligning with company policies, procedures, and ERP system standards.
- Collaborate with different departments and suppliers for project-related purchasing tasks.
- Source, select, and negotiate optimal purchase packages focusing on quality, prices, terms, deliveries and services.
- Ensure operational needs are met by managing requester's requirements, tracking orders for timely delivery, and ensuring product quality.
- Monitor and coordinate on-site deliveries of all purchased items.
- Liaise with the finance department to verify invoices, prices and delivery information.
- Assist in accounting tasks, including matching PO, DO, invoices, and preparing payment documentation.
- Bring relevant experience in the construction industry.
Job Requirements
- Possess a minimum of GCE 'O' Level or Diploma in Procurement or equivalent certifications.
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in the construction sector.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of commonly used construction materials (S&P/Electrical) is advantageous.
- Proficient in computer skills (MS Office) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Immediate availability to start work or on a short notice.
Working Hours : 8.30pm - 6pm(Mon - Fri)
