Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Dr HUANG Dongming on conducting experiments under a project on Innovative Methods for High-dimensional Statistical Inference.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
• Developing and implementing new statistical inference methods
• Deriving theory for statistical inference methods
• Conducting and analyzing experiments
• Programming computing software
• Articulate findings in academic articles
Qualifications
• Qualifications / Discipline:
Doctoral degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
• Skills:
Strong knowledge of statistical software, such as R and python.
Mathematical proficiency in deriving theoretical results.
Ability to conduct simulations studies.
Ability to write research papers.
• Experience:
Experience with writing academic articles, conducting computer experiments, real data analysis, and statistical modelling
