Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the family office, overseeing all financial operations, and ensuring the financial health and growth of our commercial property investments. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the family principals and senior management team to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the family office’s investment goals.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making for property acquisitions and portfolio management.
- Investment Management: Oversee financial due diligence and valuation of potential commercial property acquisitions.
Monitor the performance of existing property investments and recommend strategies for optimization.
Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
- Financial Operations & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls and systems.
Oversee cash flow management, tax planning, and compliance.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks associated with property investments.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other senior executives to achieve the family office’s strategic objectives.
Represent the family office in financial matters with external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within a family office or real estate investment firm.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s commercial real estate market and investment landscape.
- Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
