Job Responsibilities:
· Produce analysis on capital market trends in Southeast Asia and identify potential opportunities.
· Work with team members to prepare and deliver presentations in deal origination and fund raising.
· Develop and maintain relationships with buy side, financial sponsors, and companies.
· Support the team in execution of investment banking transactions such as initial public offerings, ECM transactions, M&A and other corporate advisory engagements for listed and unlisted clients.
· Perform in-depth financial analysis and modelling.
· Support internal business reporting.
Job Requirements:
· Relevant degree with excellent academic results from a reputable university.
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin or Malay would be an added advantage, as the incumbent will be working with Chinese and Southeast Asian clients.
· At least five years of consulting, equity research, M&A/strategy, or similar experience.
· Strong analytical skills and business analysis.
· Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
· Fast learner and ability to work independently.
· Ability to perform well under pressure and produce deliverables in a timely manner.
· Previous experience or coverage of other Southeast Asian country welcomed but not essential.
· Proven track record in deal execution, including managing various workstreams and coordinating with different stakeholders.
