Job Overview
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, overseeing the financial operations across Singapore.
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local accounting standards, and providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
As a regional role, you will collaborate closely with our headquarters, supporting and guiding local finance teams.
Additionally, you will be responsible for leading and managing the external audit and tax filing processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and oversee the financial operations across the region, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Coordinate and review the monthly and annual financial closing activities.
· Provide guidance and support to local finance teams, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
· Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
· Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance within the organization.
· Lead and manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits.
· Coordinate and oversee the preparation and filing of GST and Corporate Income Tax returns and other tax-related compliance requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with experience in audit or corporate finance teams and advantage.
· 5+ years’ experience in related accounting with a track record of managing a team.
· Good knowledge on accounting software; We use Oracle NetSuite at PURE. Great excel skills are also a plus.
· Proven leadership and team development with great interpersonal skills.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, both in English and Chinese
