Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve customer remittances queries in accordance with established service level agreement and strict guidelines to avoid breach of customer confidentiality & compliance
- Work with business unit, support unit, agent banks/correspondent banks in a professional and timely manner
- Timely reporting and escalation of risk events/incidents, suspicious transactions and presidential complaints for appropriate action
- Adhere to agreed high service levels for turnaround time and industry /currency cut-off times.
- Ensure proficiency over established Standard Operating Procedures and compliance against all relevant policies, standards and guidelines.
- Perform day end reconciliations with accuracy and detailed eyes to ensure all post processing instructions are processed before leaving the office.
- Working beyond the normal work hours are expected to complete the high day volume and urgent cases as well as on weekends to provide support for live verification tests.
- Ad-hoc duties assign by Team Manager
- Contribute constructively towards continuos work improvements and project/initiative in relation to risk management, process improvement, cost reduction , etc
Requirements
- Prior experience of banking operations and practices favourable
- Good knowledge of remittance products and understanding of risk and controls
- Good verbal & written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Team player with collaborative attitude
- Possess good problem solving and analytical skills
- Keen eye for details
- Ability to work with speed, accuracy in a fast pace environment
- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and work under pressure independently
- Strong knowledge in intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Possess high computer literacy skill to adapt to the various systems used in Cash Operations.
