Responsibilities:
- Apply scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to solve problems and enhance processes.
- Design, propose, implement, review, and adjust plans to achieve company goals.
- Observe production processes, conduct research, and identify ways to improve efficiency and quality.
- Perform chemical analysis and physical property testing of materials and products.
- Coordinate and conduct tests, analyze data, and communicate research results.
- Design processes and equipment for large-scale manufacturing, plan and test production methods, and oversee facility operations.
- Travel to work sites to understand project needs and contribute to design decisions.
- Assist in establishing budgets and timelines.
Requirements and Skills:
- Min. Degree in Science/Chemistry or equivalent
- Possess relevant training and certifications as a Chemical Engineer will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of relevant work experience.
- Motivated individual with high initiative, hands-on capability, and strong chemical knowledge, especially in cleaning chemistry.
- Opportunity for training in the USA to transfer chemistry technology and production methodology to Singapore.
- Responsible for setting up manufacturing facilities, SOP, and Quality standards in Asia.
- Strong knowledge of engineering science and technology, including safe chemical use and disposal.
- Support production, customer support, QA, logistics, and R&D in daily operations.
- Proven work experience as a Chemical Engineer or in a similar role.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, especially with non-technical team members.
- Computer literacy for simulations and ongoing research.
- Exceptional problem-solving, verbal and written communication, presentation, and project management skills.
