RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design methods to automatically extract specifications for system-level ADS perception testing from different resources
- Design scenario modeling methods for system-level ADS perception testing
- Build ADS surrogate model building of scenario evaluation
- Design algorithm for critical scenario generation focusing on system-level perception testing
- Perform analysis of perception errors and their influence on vehicle motion
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
- Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience on ADS testing, software testing, motion planning, and deep learning.
- High-quality publications in top-tier software engineering/security/robotics/intelligent vehicles journals or conferences
- Basic knowledge in software testing, AI testing, and autonomous driving systems
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on simulation-based ADS testing
- Familiar with some simulators (e.g., CARLA, SVL ) and ADSs (e.g., Apollo, Autoware)
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python and C/C++
- Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
