Overview:
The Plant Engineer (Mechanical) ensures the reliable operation of plant equipment, promoting efficiency and cost optimization while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

- Company Transportation: Provided from Jurong East MRT and Boon Lay MRT stations
- Remuneration: Up to $4,500 Monthly Base Salary + Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) + Variable Bonuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Reliability and Maintenance: Develop and execute equipment service and replacement schedules to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime. Conduct thorough root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions promptly. Respond promptly to urgent breakdown incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on production.
- Operational Efficiency: Review and enhance equipment service, maintenance, and overhaul procedures (SOPs) to optimize operational efficiency and reliability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Oversee the execution of monthly equipment preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and statutory inspections.
- Cost Management and Vendor Oversight: Supervise contractors to ensure projects are completed within budget and to required standards. Conduct regular audits of vendor services to maintain high standards and cost-effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a multinational chemical plant environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes and Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) regulations.
