The Factory General Manager’s main responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory in Bintan.
Job Description
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Formulate plans and procedures to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability. Identify opportunities to optimize operational processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations across various departments which involves planning, production, engineering, quality control and logistics management.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance. Monitor these metrics regularly, identify areas for improvement as needed.
- To plan and manage operational budgets, manpower planning, equipment utilization and Capex investment.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, including contingency plans and business continuity measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and legal requirements. Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to operational teams. To foster a culture of positive, dynamic, and professional team.
- Present operational updates, performance reports to the CEO and the board of directors.
Additional Duties:
To cover for the Accounts Manager, Administration Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager, Purchasing Manager, Logistics Manager, Production Manager, Engineering Manager, QA Manager and TM Manager in their absence
Qualifications
- Minimum university graduate in business or engineering with more than 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
- Ethical, diplomatic, observant, logical-reasoning.
- Have knowledge and competent in Indonesia tax, customs, & manpower regulations.
