Responsibilities
- Implementation and support of Microsoft Teams Phone System and Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
- Perform engineering and support duties for a large enterprise Microsoft Teams environment, including architectural design and optimization, system evaluation and analysis, change management, and customer support
- Design solutions to increase service efficiency and perform duties that require expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365) PowerShell scripting
- Communicate technical information to multiple audiences with varying levels of expertise
- Implementation and support of AudioCodes and Ribbon SBC including SIP trunking
- Deploying carrier SIP solutions
- Solid knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, H323, MGCP, RTP, Codecs knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Strong understanding of Carrier SIP network
- Implement and support the technology change from Carrier ISDN (E1/T1) circuits to centralized Carrier SIP and from Legacy PBX/Lync/Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
Requirements
- Bachelor/Diploma/Nitec of Science in Information System/Computer Science or its equivalent
- The role requires a solid analytical good judgement and solution orientation to understand the nuances of Audio Codes and/or Ribbon SBC product portfolio, SIP Protocol and Advanced Routing
- Experience in voice and video, and Audio and Video technologies, including Microsoft Teams
- Experience upgrading and maintaining Microsoft certified SBC (Ribbon, AudioCodes, AnyNode, etc)
- Ability to collect and interpret log files, collaborate with support partners to solve problems while maintaining system stability, and properly manage expectations with colleagues and users

- Ability to utilize tools, including PowerShell scripting, Power Platform, or Graph API to automate business processes
- Knowledge of basic networking, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, subnetting, and firewalls
- Ability to support Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online
- Candidates with at least 1 – 2 years of relevant experience are preferred
- Team player and an experienced engineer with strong technical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Microsoft Teams Administrator is an advantage
- Willing to cross train in other voice product
