about the job
As part of the APAC regional team, you will support the compliance function to ensure the company's compliance control framework and regulatory compliance are met. This includes reviewing counterparty's due diligence, perform Know-Your-Customer (KYC) reviews, running risk assessments and take part in investigations on counterparties against any suspicious activities. You will also work with cross-functional teams to promote a healthy risk culture that aligns with the objective of the business.
skills and experience required
You hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience gained in the commodity trading or financial services space. Good working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) regulations is highly preferred. Equipped with a proven track record of meeting tight timelines with compromising the quality of work, you are meticulous and enjoy solving complex problems. You also have strong communication skills to liaise regular with stakeholders across levels and offices.
