Job description

  • Responsible for full spectrum of payroll processing, including but not limited to income tax filing and clearance, CPF submission, statutory claims reimbursement (eg. NS-MUP claims, maternity, paternity and childcare leave claims, etc) and payroll audits.
  • Responsible for calculation of overtime payment and processing of claims.
  • Responsible for preparation of payroll reports and reconciliation of payroll data provided by relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Responsible for monthly GL reporting to Finance.
  • Responsible for MOM surveys and reports.
  • Responsible for the yearly IR8A submissions and IR21 tax clearance submissions for foreign employees on a timely basis.
  • Ensure and upkeep the accuracy of employee’s information in the HR management system and in line with regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure the wide variety of payroll information, files and records via written and electronic formats are up to date.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing.
  • Ensure company regulations and practices are relevant to the Employment Acts and statutory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Finance department to monitor cost against budget and signal any discrepancies.
  • Assist in payroll projects such as process streamlining and payroll system upgrading and implementation of new HR e-modules and new HR initiatives.
  • Maintain employees’ p-files and HR filing system.
  • Upkeep of employees’ outpatient claims status on MHC portal and as well as HRIQ e-claim module on a monthly basis.
  • Support the administration of Annual Performance Appraisal exercise, Annual Salary Review exercise on a yearly basis.
  • Support the administration of the Employee survey and HR statistics.
  • Be the main liaison contact person for any queries for HRIS system.
  • Timely addition and deletion of employees on medical panel portal.
  • Responsible in the submission of employees’ insurance claims, including but not limited to Group Hospital & Surgical Claims, Group Personal Accident Claims, WICA Claims, and Group Term Life Claims, etc.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management / Business Administration preferably
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Payroll Management
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Act and MOM regulations
  • Experience in using payroll software
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills, able to work with people across different level in the organization
  • Meticulous, organized and accurate
  • Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
