Senior/Engineer, Biomedical Engineering
Job Purpose
· The Biomedical Engineering department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Engineer to support the BME Head in medical equipment planning, technology evaluation, and maintenance.
· The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment, as well as providing technical support and supervision to vendors and contractors.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with user groups to prepare medical equipment specifications for ITQ/RFP
· Evaluate ITQ/RFP submissions and provide recommendations based on technical compliance
· Review and improve programs to minimize disruption to operations and ensure medical equipment safety
· Provide technical support for commissioning, operation, maintenance, and de-commissioning of medical equipment
· Supervise vendors and contractors on medical equipment maintenance works
· Investigate faults/complaints/hazards on medical equipment and assist in implementing action plans
· Ensure quality of works conform to standards and practices
· Support and assist BME Head in coordinating services for medical equipment projects
Job Requirements:
· Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic, or equivalent
· Diploma with minimum 8 years' working experience
· Relevant industry experience with minimum 5 years' experience in similar capacity for Engineer
· Relevant industry experience with minimum 7 years' experience in similar capacity for Senior Engineer
