General Description:
The Financial Controller is a senior professional responsible for overseeing and managing the financial activities of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The Financial Controller will provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Manage and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, bankers, and financial partners
- Oversee financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Experience, Education, and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably as a Financial Controller
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CA)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, laws, and standards
- Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and make strategic decisions
- Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
