Job Summary:
The Industrial Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards for our semiconductor equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering, with specific experience in the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Capacity Planning: Develop and implement capacity planning models to ensure optimal utilization of resources and equipment.
- Production Scheduling: Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing downtime and bottlenecks.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and make informed decisions.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices to streamline operations and increase productivity.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects aimed at process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, planning, facility, finance, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering in semiconductor equipment manufacturing or equipment manufacturing environment
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using industrial engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, simulation software, statistical analysis tools).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects and driving process improvements.
- Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge and experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
