WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We are looking for an inspirational business leader with a proven track record of business success as a result of strong authentic leadership of their teams.


This role will together with the region’s key leadership takes responsibility for our long-term success in the APAC market, financially as well as growth in revenue and market share, drive the strategic direction for the regions and support the cross functional cooperation between the regions and HQ, with focus on Axis’ best interests.


Creating a culture of success based on our core values will be an important role for the VP. This means living the core values by example, building and growing the teams and the direct reports in line with the company goals and objectives.


The VP is part of the Global Business Leadership team and as it is an international role, travel within the regions and to Axis’ HQ in Sweden will be considered a natural part of the job.


This role will be based in Singapore.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an experienced and grounded manager with a solid record of accomplishment as a good leader, developing people and organization and sound personal values in sync with our company core values. You should show proven success of working in a fast paced and growing environment, have a flexible attitude but with a structured approach when putting plans into actions. Have a business-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities.


Business ethics, transparency and trust are three key words that are a natural part of your leader brand and comes easy for you to use and stand up for when needed. Furthermore, you are a good communicator that quickly gain respect and trust in the organization, and understand that engaged employees, customers, partners and other stakeholders is key for success.


You are also motivated by building long term relationships with employees, peers, customers, partners, press and other stakeholders (diplomatic but convincing). The ability to take charge of complex situations and drive towards win-win solutions is important, be seasoned in the concept of tough love and to have good ability to prioritize and handle stressful situations. Successful characteristics would be a strong ambition paired with a lack of prestige personality and high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.


We furthermore believe you have:

  • A Commercial university degree or equivalent
  • 10-15 years’ experience in similar regional roles
  • Proven success of working in a culturally highly diverse, fast paced and growing environment on a global level
  • Experiences from navigating/operating in a complex or large organization, with a successful cross functional approach
  • Strong track record from successfully developing solution offerings and having made a product to solution sales transition, preferably from combined hard-and software industry
  • Successful experience developing go-to-market strategies across multiple markets
  • Successfully leading change processes within own organization
  • A Coaching oriented leadership style
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic and open minded, finding it natural to create an environment of transparency and trust
