Job Description
Nuevocor is a pre-clinical biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing medicines to treat cardiomyopathies. Supported by a global consortium of reputable venture capital firms, Nuevocor will leverage its mechanobiology platform to develop and advance its pipeline of programs to clinical trials.
We are seeking to hire Research Technicians to join our team. You will be joining a close-knit team where you will work closely with company scientists in a dynamic biotech working environment.
Responsibilities
· Assists in executing research experiments by performing in vivo and in vitro laboratory techniques and analytical procedures
· Keep detailed and accurate records of experimental procedures performed and data collected
· Assists in maintaining laboratory research equipment, instruments and supplies
· Contribute to lab management
Requirements
· Diploma in Life Sciences or related fields
· Experience or prior exposure to any of the following areas is preferred:
o Experience in handling in vivo models, including basic procedures such as husbandry, injections
o Experience in biological experimental techniques, such as cell culture, PCR, microscopy, Western blots
· High standards in documentation and record keeping
· Good time management and pro-active attitude
· Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team
