HR and Payroll Assistant

The HR and Payroll Assistant will support various HR and payroll functions, ensuring smooth operations and support for our employees. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:Assist in the coordination of recruitment processes, including posting job vacancies and screening candidates.
    Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of orientation materials.
  • HR Administration:Assist in managing HR documentation, including employee records and contracts.
    Help in the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Employee Payroll:Support payroll processing activities, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
    Assist in handling employee inquiries related to payroll.
  • Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for basic employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR-related matters.
    Support in resolving employee concerns in accordance with company policies.
  • Leave Management and Compliance:Help in administering leave records for employees, including annual leave and sick leave.
    Assist with Ministry of Manpower (MOM)-related matters such as work pass applications and renewals.
  • Additional HR Tasks:Support in managing employee insurance, documentation, and filing.
    Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong command of English and Mandarin with good communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate basic HR communications from English to Mandarin.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
