Sales Representative for Pet-related Products:
• Be responsible for account and sales management within the Pet Shop Retail, VET and Professional business pillars (groomers, breeders etc.)
• Achieve profitable sales growth objectives in assigned accounts by utilizing strong selling skills while developing and understanding customer needs to increase sales growth.
• Drive advocacy through account acquisition.
• Make optimum number of calls / day / weeks on the proper mix of accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and continue to identify new potential customers and set strategies to align customers in recommending our products.
• Build productive trust relationships with customers.
• Assess customers’ needs and aid with information on product features.
• Complete weekly activity and other ad-hoc reporting as needed by the General Manager.
• Participate in trade shows and events where company representation is required.
• Provide product training and ensure proper service to customers.
• Continuous learning on nutrition and acquiring new selling skills – internally and through external sources.
• Keep abreast of competition and their products.
• Attend and participate in sales meetings and suggest ways to improve sales.
