Our client is a technology hardware company, specialising in cinematic solutions. They are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Manager, HR & Office Administrator to support their daily operations.

about the job

Reporting to Head of Office Administration & HR in Hong Kong, you will:

  • Bridge the gap between administrative support and human resources management for SG and SEA regions
  • Carry out end-to-end HR functions including processing work passes and preparing appointment/confirmation letters, leave management and payroll management
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data in the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Support the recruitment and hiring process
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, and other HR events
  • Conduct orientations and onboarding of new hires
  • Prepare documentation such as employment contracts and new hire guides, and updating company policies
  • Administer employee benefits including annual leaves, medical leaves and insurance
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on HR-related matters, ensuring HR policies are met
  • Maintaining a clean and organized office facility, following all safety procedures and protocols and managing office supplies and equipment to keep the workplace functional
  • Perform full spectrum of office administrative duties, including receptionist duties and mail/courier handling, correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records
  • Any ad-hoc duties relating to HR & office management

skills and experience required

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a human resources or administrative position
  • Excellent knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Strong computing skills including MS Office and HR systems
  • Independent, with the ability to multitask within a dynamic environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, professional and strong attention-to-detail
