Join a dedicated and passionate team of Primary School educators in establishing Invictus International School. We are looking for a Music teacher who possess a fun and bubbly disposition and wants to teach in a fun and engaging way. In addition to the role, the teacher would be expected to:
- Involve themselves fully in the life of the school and play an active part in the extracurricular programme, whether through involvement in games, clubs, or drama
- Attend parent teacher conferences
- Assess and record pupils’ progress in accordance with departmental and school policies
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings
- Develop teaching and learning resources
- Monitor the work and progress of pupils, including those with specific learning needs
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of all students
Key Responsibilities
- Promote high standards in Music throughout the school
- Assist in long-term development and short-term management of the Music curriculum across all levels
- Assist in preparation of all Music assessments
- Presenting to parents and visitors at school events
- Communicating with or meeting parents to discuss issues related to Music
- Integration of technology into the Music curriculum
- Value holistic education
- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school.
Qualifications And Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in a Primary school environment
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Education or other related degrees from NUS, NTU, NIE or other reputable university.
- Must be able to speak and write in English fluently. (Lessons will be conducted in English, and communication with parents in English)
- Candidates with experience teaching at the primary level
- Must be passionate in learning and teaching
- Must love working with children
- Must possess a fun-loving, energetic and bubbly disposition
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
