Summary:
The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Security Development team, focusing on building innovative security solutions for Homeland Security, Smart Cities, and Critical Infrastructures. The role involves technical/solution design, code development, and component test execution to align with product specifications.
Requirements:
- Technical/solution design and code development.
- Component test execution.
- Broad technology skills in web application technologies, microservice design patterns, open-source libraries, and technology architecture concepts.
- Collaboration with product/solution architects and other development teams.
- Adherence to software development methodologies and processes.
- Documentation of designs for usability, supportability, and maintainability.
- Sub-system installation, configuration, and integration for POC/demo.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in full web application development lifecycle of scalable microservices-based architectures.
- Experience as a software team lead is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns.
- Experience in SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in Go Language, CSS, HTML5, Angular with Typescript, and Android (Kotlin).
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MQ, Apache Kafka, version control using GIT, CI/CD pipeline, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Ansible and Mapbox SDK (Android or iOS).
