The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) (Train-and-Place with Commitment to Hire) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals is a talent development programme aimed at building the next generation of skilled manpower for Singapore’s Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry in anticipation of hiring demand.

A certificate will be given to successful trainees upon completion of the programme.
Trainee to be involved in:
1) To execute and monitor activities within an assigned work area / system to ensure reliable and optimal operation of processes, equipment, utilities and facilities to achieve sustainability target, operating cost within the framework of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), quality, safety, occupational hygiene and environmental protection.
2) To carry out feasibility studies, development, resolve issues and risk, recommend business process changes and implementation of solution to deliver Nature positive programme in the area of:
a. Water consumption
i. Reduce overall water usage
b. Waste generation
i. Waste reduction for both solid and liquid waste generated from production
3) To embedded sustainability across the site footprint in
a. awareness and mindset shift achieved and maintained across the site workforce
b. sustainability performance management and audits
c. preparation of site governance requirement
What will you learn?
- Understand the purified water systems. Improve the water usage efficiency of the water systems
- Ability to propose equipment design changes
- Support reporting, forecasting of sustainability KPI and governance requirement.
- Understand waste management processes and develop analytical skills to provide improvement ideas and implement the solutions for a better environment sustainability system on site
- Communication skills to improvement environmental sustainability on site
We are looking for you with below attributes:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Sustainability
- Good understanding of the various industrial standards and capital management
- Ability to work in a cross functional team to delivery the project with smooth handover for the next phase of execution
- Ability to apply RCA, risk assessment and technical knowledge to implement practical solution to problems
- Ability to deliver outcome within specified timeline and delivery requirement
- Good knowledge in cost-benefit evaluation

You will be based at one of our manufacturing site in Singapore near Jurong.
