- Support HR initiatives and programs which deliver workplace efficiency and agility in the workplace.
- Support people strategies and build the capability of the managers to motivate and develop people, and manage all aspects of employee performance to drive a culture characterized by care and respect and accountability for performance.
- Support talent acquisition ensuring the right level of resourcing and staffing for units working closely with recruiters.
- Support hi-po development planning (to recognize and promote potential), succession planning and employee development.
- Work with HRD on talent retention strategies- to attract, develop and retain the right employees.
- Work to ensure compliance, risk mitigation and effective management of employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws, grievances, performance management, performance improvement process such that possible conflict potential is identified quickly and early and thus possible escalations are ideally avoided in advance.
- Support performance review for units, ensuring discussion of strengths/weaknesses including a development plan respectively including training needs of talent in units.
- Contribute to the strategic and operational direction of the business portfolio, leading process and performance improvement programs aligned with the strategic plans.
- Actively drive and sponsor workplace and employee engagement initiatives aligned with our Diversity and Inclusion programs and suite of initiatives to drive diverse culture, diverse leadership.
- Manage payroll (full spectrum of payroll processing, submissions for CPF, government claims (eg. NS, various leave types funded by government, training grants), prepare prompt statutory submissions, tax filings such as IR21 and IR8A, prepare payroll related reports, and other reports as required by management or internal stakeholders.
- Maintain supporting payroll documentations and authorizations for internal and external audit) together with HRE (back up).
- Support HR compensation and benefits analytics (insurance benefits, WICA, GH&S, Outpatient, Dental and any other benefit which may be implemented) and HR reporting (MOM survey, or any statutory surveys)
- Support Training needs analysis or knowledge of Training requirements
- Troubleshoot and HR system issues.
