Our Environmental Team is Singapore is hiring for a Senior Environmental Consultant to play a crucial role in delivering Environmental Impact Assessment and EMMP works for infrastructure projects across Singapore. Main duties:
- Working with Project Manager on managing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), pollution control study, site-specific air quality impact assessment, and baseline air and noise monitoring project.
- Conduct Pollution Control study (PCS) and standalone air-specific consultancy projects including baseline monitoring, air dispersion modelling using AERMOD, Calpuff in Singapore and/or other Southeast Asia countries.
- Coordinate with client, contractor, sub-consultants, engineering team, environmental team members to smooth the information exchange and workflow.
- Prepare technical reports, assist project manager on technical report compilation, and provide initial check and review
- Presenting the technical reports to client and local Government agencies. Liaise with Local Authorities on acceptance of the technical report.
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:
- Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing EIA/EMMP/PCS/Air quality study projects in Singapore.
- Experience related to hydrology assessment, water quality modelling, air and noise modelling and assessment.
- Good presentation and reporting skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Singapore legal and authorities’ requirements for environmental impact assessments, environmental management and monitoring planning and Pollution Control requirements.
- Proficiency in GIS software will be an added advantage.
- Registration as an Environmental Control Officer will be an added advantage.
