Job Scope:
We are looking for experienced merchandiser as you will be a crucial role in the retail industry by managing and coordinating the procurement, planning, and display of products to maximize sales and profitability. You will analyze market trends and customer preferences to inform purchasing decisions to the management and drive sales growth.
Job Description:
1. Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
2. Conduct regular store visits to assess product availability, presentation, and adherence to merchandising standards.
3. Liaising with stores and warehouse to arrange stocks to stores. Assisting with the warehouse personal to allow for greater product accessibility and to monitor stock movement within the warehouse.
4. Clear old stocks by organizing promotion or discounts in stores and consider markdowns, price changes, clear outs etc.
5. Formulate events and strategies to drive traffic to retail stores and build strong connection with target customers.
6. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay informed about industry developments and identify potential risks and opportunities.
7. Manage social media accounts.
8. Any other ad hoc tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
· Proven experience in a retail merchandising role, preferably in a similar industry or product category.
· Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in similar role preferred.
· Minimum Diploma in any studies.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
. Proficient in MS Office and website editing tools.
· Flexibility to work weekends, as required in the retail industry.
