Job Overview:The Store Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store to ensure a smooth and efficient environment. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in retail management and experience in halal handling practices. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and store layout to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Halal Handling Experience: Ensure that all halal products are handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with halal guidelines. Implement and monitor procedures to maintain compliance with halal standards.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric environment by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Sales and Performance: Monitor sales performance and store metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets and improve profitability.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the store complies with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control processes to minimize losses and ensure availability of products.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on store performance, sales, and operational issues to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of successful store operations and team leadership.
- Halal Handling: Demonstrated experience and knowledge in handling and managing halal products in a retail setting.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in retail management software.
