You will play a strategic role in developing and coordinating cloud architecture across diverse areas including application development, identity and access management, network and data management and more. You will need to work with cross-functional teams, management, marketing, cloud engineer, solution architect and machine learning engineers to build solutions for our focus markets and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, design and operationalization of cloud data platforms on AWS and GCP.
- Oversee the design and development of CI/CD and DevOps pipelines for cloud infrastructure automation within the data platform.
- Define and document best practices and strategies for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD processes for AWS and GCP, ensuring compliance with company security guidelines.
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle with AWS and GCP solutions, including planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, and quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, resolve issues, and document problems while implementing preventive measures.
- Exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills, proactively addressing issues to prevent impacts on business productivity.
- Conduct knowledge transfer workshops for customers post-migration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related IT discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and GCP.
- Ability to lead a small team of 2 to 3 engineers.
- Extensive knowledge of microservices (e.g., GKE, Kubernetes, ECS), serverless architectures, auto-scaling, and high availability.
- Proficient in Cloud CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and GitHub, with programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with common database middleware such as MySQL, Redis, and Kafka, along with a solid understanding of database design and optimization.
- Experience in the public sector is an advantage.
