Urgently - Needed: Part-Time Bus Driver/Captain for Special Needs School in Changi
This position consists of providing safe and timely transport of children to and from school.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- The driver responsibilities include observing traffic rules, ensuring proper vehicle maintenance.
- Maintains order among students while they are on the bus
- Perform pre and vehicle inspection
- Assist students with special needs in boarding/alighting from the school van (small number of students, with additional help from Van Attendant)
- Administer safety procedures for students before and during transportation to ensure safe and secure van environment.
- Able to work independently
Requirements:
- Class 3 License
- Bus Driver's Vocational License (BDVL)
- Familiar with Singapore route
- Minimally 1 year experience would be a preferred
Language
- Ability to converse in simple English
- Must possess good communication skills
Working Hours and Remuneration:
Afternoon and Evening Shift:
- MONDAYS - FRIDAYS
- Trip 1: 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM (RELIEF / AD-HOC BASIS)
- Trip 2 : 11.30 AM - 3.00PM (RELIEF / AD-HOC BASIS)
- Trip 2: 10.30 AM - 2:00 PM (Permanent position on Fridays)
- Trip 3: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (RELIEF/AD-HOC BASIS)
- Daily transport/commute fee to location of school bus at Changi Road is claimable for early morning shift
