Job Description
The ideal candidate is a team player responsible for working with company data in various business areas. Specific responsibilities include reporting metrics, analysing methodologies, suggesting operation improvements, and building proposal evaluations in a cross-function environment.
- Play a key role in overseeing and guiding finance teams on report developments and changes.
- Take ownership of the business and segment financial reports for country and group financial reporting.
- Perform a bridging role between the finance and data science team.
- Create reporting frameworks for new product features in financial reports.
- Provide solutions in extracting relevant data and information to represent the financial reporting requirement accurately.
- Troubleshoot system-related issues through essential communication, walkthrough and testing.
- Document process workflows and business logics.
- Manage stakeholders’ needs, concerns, and problems regarding changes, enhancements or fixes.
- Think strategically and analytically about business, product and technical challenges.
- Ensure the reports are delivered in time with the highest level of accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics and/or related fields.
- Experience in Data Governance / Data Security is preferred.
- Around 4-8 years of relevant working experience. Experience in project management tools (Confluence / Jira) is a plus.
- Ability to work with a diverse team and drive changes across functional and business boundaries.
- Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and can self-direct work in an unstructured environment.
- Knowledge of SQL is a must; experience dealing with database is an advantage.
- Robust data analytics and/or visualisation skills, preferably with Python and/or Microsoft Power BI.
