We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Oil Trading Analyst to join a dynamic trading team. The successful candidate will support the trading desk by providing in-depth market analysis and trading strategy development. This role is essential for ensuring informed decision-making and optimizing trading performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Crude and Refined Products market quantitative, qualitative and technical analysis
- Collect, organize, and maintain relevant market data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the trading team
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on market trends, price movements, and trading performance.
- Provide real-time support to traders by monitoring market conditions, generating trade ideas, and executing trades as needed.
- Collaborate with the trading team to develop and refine trading strategies based on market analysis and risk assessment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering with 2 years’ experience in oil trading, market analysis, or a related field within the energy sector.
- Possess analytical skills in both technical and fundamental analysis
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Strong team player, and able to work independently to deliver quality output.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
