Responsibilities:
- Cisco Codec Devices: Install and manage Cisco Codec devices, coordinating with the multimedia team for registration to Call Manager.
- WebEx Hub & Cisco IP Telephony: Manage WebEx Hub meeting requests and support Cisco IP Telephony requests.
- Network Device Installation: Install and configure Cisco network devices, including routers, catalyst switches, and wireless access points.
- Hardware Inspections: Perform regular inspections of network and server hardware, reporting findings to team members and superiors.
- Data Centre Management: Ensure Data Centre equipment is managed and maintained properly and effectively.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage and coordinate vendor support services, including supervising installation, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs of network and server hardware components.
- IT Assets Inventory: Maintain an IT assets hardware inventory database for both on-premise and cloud Data Centres.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve assigned tickets, logging associated activities.
- Purchase Requisitions: Prepare and follow-up on purchase requisitions within the area of responsibility.
- Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor and maintain Data Centre infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- UPS Systems: Install, configure, and monitor UPS systems, facilitating power requirements for newly installed servers and network devices.
- Remote Coordination: Coordinate with remote site support engineers for all server room-related activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
