Automation test engineer

On behalf of our client we are looking for Automation test engineer to work one on

one basis on various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation Development:
   • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
   • Implement and manage automated testing frameworks.
   • Continuously improve the automation testing processes and frameworks.
2. Test Planning and Execution:
   • Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and develop test plans.
   • Execute automated test cases and analyze results.
   • Identify, document, and track bugs.
3. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
   • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
   • Ensure that automated tests are run on each build and deployment.
4. Performance and Load Testing:
   • Develop and execute performance and load tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
   • Analyze performance test results and work with development teams to address performance issues.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with development teams to identify areas for test automation.
   • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team goals.
   • Communicate test results and insights to stakeholders.
6. Mentorship and Guidance:
   • Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in test automation.
   • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications:

1. Education:
   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Experience:
   • 5-10 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation testing.
   • Proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
   • Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
3. Technical Skills:
   • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar.
   • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
   • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
   • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
