POSITION SUMMARY
To handle day-to-day shipment arrangement and documentation collection, preparation and distribution.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow standard operating procedures established by management.
- Coordinate with shippers, consignees, carriers and other service providers to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Input data into systems in timely and accurate manner.
- Verify the correctness of documents provided by shippers, carriers and other service providers.
- Distribute pre-alert and required documents to appropriate parties in timely manner.
- Prepare shipping documents as required.
- Other duties as assigned to the position.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- GCE ‘O’ Level and above.
- At least two (2) years’ experience in freight forwarding industry.
- Fluent in English and local languages.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong management and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Customer-oriented and result-focused.
- Able to work independently, take responsibility and ownership of initiative.
