Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from approved local and overseas suppliers
- Day to day responsibilities as supporting role to Project Director and Design team for developing project cost, based on the project requirements, budget parameters and coordinating project documentation
- Take lead in sourcing for new products/goods not supplied by regular principals/vendors with the aim to reduce cost whilst maintaining quality and requirements
- Ensure all purchase requests are approved within mandated guidelines
- Evaluate vendors’ quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial requirements for the project
- Process the purchase orders correctly by liaising with suppliers, stakeholders and purchasing admin
- Resolve supply, quality, service and invoice issues with vendors and or other stakeholders
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best competitive rates
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least ITE/Diploma from a recognized Insitition
- Meticulous and have a good eye for details
- Able to work on multiple projects
- Able to work independently in fast paced working environment
- Min 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Strong planning, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
· Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
· Knowledge of AutoCAD an advantage
