Job Description:
Pawsh Club, a premium doggie daycare, hotel and groomer, is seeking an experienced Doggie School Bus Driver to transport our furry clients to and from our facility in Singapore. The driver will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of dogs while providing excellent customer service to our clients. The vehicle used for transportation will be an automatic small Mercedes van.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport dogs to and from Pawsh Club within scheduled pick-up and drop-off times
- Provide excellent customer service to dog owners and ensure their satisfaction with the transportation service
- Maintain a clean and hygienic condition of the vehicle at all times
- Conduct daily safety checks on the vehicle before use
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving the vehicle
- Report any incidents, accidents or concerns to the management immediately
- Manage the behavior of the dogs during transportation to ensure their safety and comfort
- Communicate effectively with Pawsh Club staff and dog owners to provide updates on the transportation schedule
- Adhere to Pawsh Club's policies and procedures
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a driver, with experience chauffeuring pets preferred
- A valid Class 3 or 4 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with traffic laws and safety regulations in Singapore
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to handle and manage dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job, including lifting, bending and sitting for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and hygienic environment in the vehicle
- A passion for working with dogs and a commitment to providing the highest quality service to dog owners
