About the role - you will:
Apply knowledge of HDD certification and methodologies to integrate new technologies in disk drive hardware, firmware and factory test process to ensure successful execution in all phases of product development • Develop test process code in support of new product launch • Perform bench level tests and data analysis to understand and resolve HDD failures • Frequently interact with design engineering functions such as Controller Firmware, Test Process Engineering, Servo Firmware, Product teams and product development Core Teams for development work and issue closure • Be expected to have excellent problem-solving skills and work in a team environment spanning multiple countries • Understand and debug all disk drive sub systems, including servo, mechanical, read / write, electronics, controller firmware and factory test process

Your experience includes:
The job requires at least a degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline. 10 or more years' experience in HDD drive test process.
You might also have:
- Good knowledge of HDD
- Comprehensive understanding of HDD test process
- Programming skills in Python and working knowledge of C language is an added advantage.
- Good Engineering knowledge and data analytical skills
- Good command of English in both written and verbal form
