About The Role
You will be part of the Operations & Logistics team, providing operational support to overseeing the global shipping process, as well as supporting the team on the smooth processing of orders and delivery related matters.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for the full spectrum of the shipping process
- Manage communication with Carriers / Airlines / Suppliers / Freight Forwarders
- Coordinate closely with suppliers to arrange for goods collection to overseas warehouse or to be shipped
- Checking of shipping documents e.g. B/L, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Custom Permit
- Organize monthly and quarterly consolidation shipment from overseas locations to countries of operations
- Update management on collection status and shipment arrival dates
- Process orders for customers receiving stock overseas
- Any other shipping and logistics/operations related tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- At least 1-3 year of related Global Freight Forwarding experience preferred
- Familiarity of the Wine industry and TradeNet Certification preferred but not required
- Proficient with MS Office and ERP system (NetSuite)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good command of English
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt well in fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task
- Demonstrates strong sense of initiative with the ability to work independently and as a team player with positive attitude.
