Domain Ownership: Responsible for the overall strategy of Financial Systems (SAP and non-SAP) in the group of companies. The candidate must possess the vision and hands on experience to formalize, standardize, govern, and evolve the architecture, design, standards, and processes in SAP Finance modules with the objective to deliver best practice, relevant, timely, dependable, and cost effective solutions to the Finance business stakeholders.

The SAP modules in scope are mainly SAP FICO (CO-PA, CCA, PCA, PS, AP, AR, AM, GL, RE-FX, SL) and SAP BPC. Non SAP applications include Sungard AvantGard Treasury. Person has to solution and manage integration with external systems (eg: Banks for payment, InvoiceNOW)


Client Facing: Be the strategic interface and global single point of contact between IT and Finance business stakeholders of the Group so that stakeholders have clear and direct access to IT. The candidate must possess the consulting skills and industry experience to work with the stakeholders to understand business requirement and recommend industry best practice solutions. Managing expectations of senior stakeholders and maintaining a healthy and consistent pipeline of project and changes is a must.

Project Ownership: Overall responsible for the design and delivery of Finance related projects in the group. Review and approve all business requirements in projects and change requests. Ensure projects are completed on time, scope, and within budget. Ensure governance and adherence to project delivery standards. Review new initiatives and solutions and eventually incorporate them into the global design of the financial systems.

Team Management: Manage outsourced Application Managed Services (AMS) resources to ensure they deliver the expected L2 support to end users.

Operational Excellence: Ensure issues and changes in financial systems are addressed within expected SLAs. Ensure continuous improvements to the systems and processes through proactive review and optimization initiatives with the business. Recommend and implement major improvements that have significant benefit to IT or the business.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Domain Ownership: Establish and oversee a balanced IT project portfolio that meets business objectives and align the strategic plans of both IT and the business. Together with the Finance business stakeholders, develop and align a 3 year roadmap for the group’s financial systems with the business’ strategy. Approve all changes and projects in the Financial systems. Ensure that systems, solutions, services, processes are aligned.
KPI: A 3 year roadmap of the group’s financial systems to support the future needs of the business. A formal process is in place to review and develop the roadmap in conjunction with business strategy. A balanced project and change portfolio where IT delivery is driven by business needs and priority.

Client Facing
: Establish regular meetings with stakeholders to build up trust, increase collaboration, and IT presence in the eyes of the stakeholders. Provide consultation to business to mature business ideas, or provide expert recommendations to stimulate business needs.
KPI: Score “Very high” satisfaction level from IT engagement survey. All stakeholders must agree that IT is a trusted business partner. Establish regular consult and brainstorming sessions that must result in at least 2 major initiatives every year.


Project Ownership: Deliver projects with clearly defined and measurable benefits to the business. Deliver projects on time, in scope, and below budget.
KPI: Deliver projects that in total will achieve at least $0.5 million in estimated savings to the business. All projects are delivered on time, and below budget. Defects after go live (1st month) should not have more than 5 hours spent on defect resolution. All project satisfaction score by stakeholders should be “very high”.


Operational Excellence: Ensure that systems and services are running according to agreed SLAs. Constantly deliver improvement initiatives that add value to both IT and the business.
KPI: 90% of Incidents are addressed within SLAs. Recommend and implement 2 internal improvement initiatives that will increase IT efficiency by 20%.
