Profile:
- As AS400 RPG Developer will work on the development and maintenance of the MIDAS core banking system, leveraging their expertise in RPG programming on the IBM iSeries platform
- Develop, enhance, and maintain RPG-based applications and modules within the MIDAS core banking system.
- Implement new features and functionality as per business requirements and regulatory changes.
- Write and optimize CL programs, RPG IV (ILE RPG), and SQL scripts to support banking operations.
- Integrate the MIDAS core banking system with other internal and external systems, including payment gateways, CRM systems, and third-party services.
- Customize the MIDAS system to meet specific client needs, ensuring seamless operation and compliance.
- Provide technical support for the MIDAS system, resolving issues related to application performance, data accuracy, and system functionality.
- Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement necessary fixes or enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in RPG IV (ILE RPG), CL, and SQL programming on the IBM iSeries (AS400) platform.
- In-depth knowledge of the MIDAS core banking system, including its modules, functionalities, and architecture.
- Experience with DB2 for database management and query optimization.
- Understanding of core banking processes, including customer account management, transaction processing, and loan servicing.
- Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining applications in a core banking environment.
- Experience with system integration, data migration, and interface development.
- Knowledge of modern development practices, such as Agile methodologies and DevOps.
- Certification in IBM iSeries administration or development.
- Experience in leading a team is preferred.
