We are looking for a motivated and energetic Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring efficient processing, storage, and dispatch of goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
● Assist in receiving and checking incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
● Pick, pack, and label merchandise in preparation for shipping.
● Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, Reach Trucks, and adhere to all safety regulations.
● Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment at all times.
● Conduct inventory counts and help manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy.
● Coordinate with the warehouse team to optimize processes and minimize errors.
● Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
● Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging and shipping.
● Report any discrepancies or concerns to the Warehouse Manager immediately.
● Assist in processing returns, following specific procedures and guidelines.
● Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements:
● Minimum GCE 'O' Level/ A-Level with min 1-year relevant experience in logistics/supply chain management/warehouse or distribution center preferred.
● Proficient with Microsoft Office
● Forklift Certification
● Able to work 5.5 days work week
● Knowledge of Work Management Systems is preferred
● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
● Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
● Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
