Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of accurate, timely, relevant, and reliable financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Changes in Equity).
- Support control, coordination, and completion of GST returns.
- Prepare tax computations with local advisors and Corporate tax department.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary as needed.
- Meet monthly reporting deadlines for local Executive Management and Head/Regional office.
- Support budgeting and forecasting in accordance with Corporate guidelines and timeframes.
- Prepare and circulate necessary periodic and ad-hoc analyses.
- Ensure adequate and maintained controls within finance, including over bank accounts, petty cash, and payroll.
- Support the setup of new processes, regional entities, shared services, etc.
- Manage GL/AR/AP and related schedules and functions, including journal postings.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in any accounting system; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking and positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and English verbal/written communication skills.
- Meticulous with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other departments, preferably in an MNC environment.
- CA/CPA/Degree in Accounting.
